Unpopular opinion: the moon landing hoax folks ignore the one number that actually matters
I spent a rainy Saturday last month going down a rabbit hole on the NASA photo archive site, and I came across the mission report for Apollo 11. The thing that stopped me was this: 382 kilograms of rock and soil brought back across six missions, and labs in Houston and around the world have been cutting into those samples for decades. I used to think the hoax crowd had a point about the studio lighting in some of the photos. Then I read that the samples have a chemical signature that matches nothing on Earth, and that a few of them still had a solar wind burn on the outside. A film set in 1969 could not fake that in a million tries. I am not saying trust everything the government tells you, but anyone who has done even a little digging on those rocks would have a hard time buying the fake story. Has anyone here actually looked at the sample data, or is it all just the waving flag clip on repeat?
