I've listened to 312 hours of conspiracy podcasts and I think I believe less now than when I started
So last week I finally checked my podcast app stats and it said 312 hours over the past 14 months. Mostly stuff about JFK, the moon landing, and some weird ones about birds not being real. Here's what got me though. The more I listen, the less sure I am about anything. Every single episode has a guy with a calm voice saying he did the research and here's the proof, and then the next episode has another calm guy saying the first guy is a shill. I used to think I could spot the fake stuff pretty easy, but now I just sit there nodding at whoever is talking. My buddy Dale says that means the disinformation worked on me and I'm exactly where they want me. But maybe that's just what a shill would say. So I want to know what you all think. Does listening to more of this stuff make you more sure or less sure? Because I honestly can't tell anymore and it's messing with my head.
