I finally dug into the "chemtrails" thing and felt like an idiot
My buddy kept going on about chemtrails for months. Called me a sheep for ignoring it. So last week I watched three videos on YouTube from some guy claiming the trails are for weather control. Got real into it. Started checking the sky every day in Portland. Then I looked up actual atmospheric science from NOAA. Turns out those patterns are normal contrails. The whole thing fell apart in like 2 hours of reading. Felt dumb for even entertaining it. Anyone else waste time on a conspiracy that had a boring real explanation?

Reconsider trusting a YouTuber with zero credentials over actual atmospheric scientists.

You say it fell apart in 2 hours of reading, but that's assuming NOAA is some kind of neutral source. NOAA is part of the government, the same government that has lied to us about everything from UFOs to what's in our food. I'd trust a guy with a YouTube channel over a government website any day. Those "normal contrails" you mention shouldn't hang in the sky for hours turning into a thick haze, that's not how regular exhaust works. Weather control sounds crazy until you remember the military has patents for exactly that kind of tech since the 90s. Why do you think they spend billions on atmospheric research if there's nothing to find?

Damn, I see your point but I feel like trusting a YouTuber over actual scientists is a pretty big leap.
