Appreciation post: the bus driver on the 42 explained the whole route to me and it cut 15 minutes off my trip
For 3 months I just sat there staring at my phone and got off at the wrong stop near Foster Ave almost weekly. Last Tuesday the driver, a guy named Marcus, asked where I was headed and drew the whole route on the back of a transfer slip, showing me a shortcut stop I never noticed. I've been riding 20 minutes less each way since then and I feel kind of dumb for not just asking sooner. Anyone else learn a trick from a driver that they wish they'd known about way earlier?
