Just realized...that 3am crash call in Akron changed how I read tool wear
Was running a 20 year old Haas at a shop outside Akron, spindle started making this whine around 2:45am, I kept pushing it, then a part came off the fixture and smacked the enclosure so hard it bent the sheet metal, had to scrap 14 pieces and reorder inserts, has anyone else had a machine tell you something's off but you ignore it because the job's almost done?
