Hot take: I stopped using air blast to clear chips on 4140 and my tool life doubled
A guy at the shop in Fort Worth showed me how flood coolant was actually cooling the insert instead of just blasting hot chips around, and I got 11 extra parts out of a single CNMG before it wore out, so now I'm wondering if anyone else switched and saw the same thing, or if it's just the material talking.
