Heat pump vs gas furnace, I was totally wrong for 4 winters

After my gas furnace died in January, I finally tried a cold-climate heat pump in Minneapolis and my electric bill actually dropped $38 a month compared to propane. The installer showed me the COP ratings at -10F and that sold me, has anyone else made the switch up north?
