That vacant house on my street finally sold, and the new owner is doing something wild

I've lived in Old Brooklyn for 8 years and watched this rundown bungalow on Memphis Ave sit empty since 2021. Someone bought it last month for $85k and instead of flipping it, they're turning the front yard into a community garden with a free produce stand. I walked by yesterday and they already have 4 raised beds built and a sign saying neighbors can take whatever grows. Has anyone else seen new Cleveland owners do something unexpected with an old property, or is this just my weird block?
