Man, that sounds rough. My back hurts just thinking about it, and I wasn't even there. After my own pump died a few years back, I looked like a wet noodle for a week, so I feel your pain, @ray136. I ended up just sitting in the damp basement staring at the new pump for a while, too tired to move.
