I finally see why everyone loves those old straight-six engines

Last month I drove my buddy's 1972 Chevelle with the 250 inline six through rural Iowa and the way it just pulled steady at 55 mph with zero drama made me realize I wasted 3 years chasing horsepower when torque and simplicity is what actually makes these cars fun.
