Why did it take me 4 hours to find one stupid screw in a hardware store aisle
I went to the Ace on Grand in St. Paul looking for a #8 machine screw, and an older guy in a green apron walked the whole aisle with me until we found it in a bin 12 feet from where I started. We got to talking about his old Ford truck and suddenly it was 4 hours later and my parking meter was crying. Has anyone else had a quick errand turn into a whole afternoon because a stranger wanted to chat?
