Silencing push notifications saved my interview call with a surprise cat cameo
My cat used to sit on my keyboard during every morning standup, so I tried a motion sensor spray can on my desk last week. It worked too well, it went off when I leaned forward to grab my coffee and soaked my notes right as my boss asked if I was ready to present. I learned to angle the sensor away from my normal seating zone and test spray distance before any call. What do you all use to keep pets off your workspace during meetings?

Wait, a spray can that shoots when you lean forward? That sounds like something out of a prank video, not a real office tool. I half expected you to say it hit your cat in the face and now they refuse to even look at you. The fact you had to angle it away from your own chair is hilarious, but also kind of terrifying. Honestly, I just close my door and let my dog bark at the mailman, which is its own disaster. But at least my notes stay dry, you know?
