I put my cat on camera during a job interview and it actually worked
Everyone says hide your pets during calls, but when my orange tabby Milo walked across the desk 10 minutes into a Zoom interview with a company in Austin, the interviewer asked about him and we spent 5 minutes talking cats, and I got a callback the next day, so maybe letting the pet crash the call isn't the disaster people warn you about.
