Customer asked me to rip out a day old install over one wrinkle
Started this job Tuesday in an old ranch house outside Dayton. Carpet looked perfect when I left, stretched tight, seams invisible. Next morning the homeowner calls, says there's a wrinkle by the patio door she can feel with her toes. I get there expecting a real issue, but it's a tiny ripple maybe 8 inches long, the kind you'd never notice unless you're barefoot and looking for it. I told her I could steam it out in ten minutes, but she said no, she wanted it pulled and replaced. So I spent the whole day redoing a 12x14 room for free, plus a trip to the warehouse for new material. She watched me the entire time, didn't say a word. When I finished, she nodded and handed me a $20 tip. Has anyone else run into customers who demand a full redo over something that minor? How do you talk them down without losing the job?

Man that sucks. People get weird over the smallest stuff sometimes.
