Bought the $45 rain cover for my grill before a cookout, then the party got moved
We had 14 people coming over Saturday for my daughter's birthday cookout in Fort Worth, and the forecast flipped to rain two days out. I grabbed a $45 cover for the grill thinking we'd push through, but my wife moved the whole thing to her sister's place with an indoor oven setup instead. The cover sat in the garage unused, and I still had to haul the burgers and buns across town in the rain. Money gone, and the thing never even came out of the box. Has this happened to you, and do you return the gear or just eat the cost?
