Took my stove to the shop in Boise and the tech asked if I ever cleaned the jet, felt dumb
Dropped my 2 burner camp stove off at a small repair shop in Boise last month because it kept sputtering on low. The tech pulled the jet out, held it up to the light, and asked when I last cleaned it. I had owned the thing for 4 years and never once touched it, just figured low flame was normal for the model. He showed me the little clog of soot and said he sees this on almost every stove that comes in for a "broken" burner, and 5 minutes with a wire and some air fixed it. How often is everyone else pulling and cleaning their jets, because I clearly have been way off.
