Spent 45 minutes fighting a tent pole on Saturday, turns out I had it backwards
We were setting up at Baker Lake and the main pole just would not click into the hub no matter how hard I pushed. After finally reading the little diagram on the bag, I realized the bent end goes toward the corner, not the middle. Has anyone else had a gear design that feels obvious once you see it but wastes your whole setup time?

Man, that's the worst kind of design flaw. The kind where the fix is so dumb simple you feel like an idiot for not seeing it right away. But hey, at least you figured it out before the tent ended up in the lake.
