Am I the only one who ignores waterproof ratings on tents and just checks the seams in person?
Bought a $220 two person tent in Missoula last spring that claimed 3000mm and leaked at the corner seam on night two, while my buddy's cheap 1500mm held up fine all weekend. Now I spend 10 seconds running my thumb along every seam before I buy anything, does anyone else do this?
