Update: pulled 3 installs from the same Denver block, and the difference in wall plates after one winter bugs me
Did three jobs on the same street in Denver, one in October and two more in February, and the plastic wall plates I put in first had cracked at two of the screw holes. The other two houses used a different brand of plate and they held up fine, same temps, same old drywall. So is it cheap plastic or did I over tighten? What plates are you all running for outside walls that get cold?

Did the cracked ones sit on the same cold wall, or was that first house just colder?
