PSA: A simple paper route list beat the $200 mailing list I almost bought for my lawn care side gig
Dropped $200 on a mailing list for my lawn care work in Mesa and got one callback, but walking my old neighborhood on foot with a clipboard got me 6 regulars in two weeks. What cheap stuff worked better than paid ads for you?

Word of mouth always beats some list you paid for. People trust a face they've seen in the neighborhood, not a flyer from a stranger. Knocking doors is free and it actually works.
