Serious question, did you stick with your original layout or pivot hard after a few months?
I started out last January with a super minimalist bujo, just a monthly log and daily rapid logging. By March I got totally sucked into all these fancy trackers and collections I saw online. I had to make a real choice between keeping it simple or going all in with a habit tracker, mood tracker, and a weekly spread. I ended up going with the full weekly setup for about 2 months and honestly it burned me out. Now I'm back to just monthly and daily logs plus a single page for books I've read. Has anyone else gone back and forth like that? I'm curious if you stuck with your first layout or switched completely.

Minimal for life, fancy stuff just got in the way of actually writing.

Guess I'll just go back to my five-binder system with color coded tabs then, no big deal. At least it keeps me from actually writing

Three binders in and I've got sticky notes falling out like autumn leaves... it's the same pattern I see everywhere, people build these elaborate systems thinking it'll fix the problem but really it's just another way to avoid actually doing the thing. My neighbor spent six months researching the perfect planner setup and never wrote a single grocery list in it. Sometimes the messy middle is where the real stuff happens, binders just give us a nice place to hide.
