Warning: That 'use everything' soup from fridge scraps turned out weird

I read about cutting food waste and thought, why not boil all my leftover bits into a cheap meal. Tossed in carrot peels, onion ends, and some sad celery from the back of the fridge. It looked like swamp water and tasted even worse, kind of bitter and grassy. My cat took one sniff and walked away, which says a lot. Still, it cost almost nothing and I guess that counts as a win for the planet.

Ugh, eco-friendly plans often taste terrible!

When eco-friendly food tasted terrible... I learned to roast veggies with olive oil and salt.

Eco-friendly plans don't have to taste bad. With good recipes, they can be very satisfying.
