My grandma told me to buy chicken leg quarters instead of breasts and I ignored her for 2 years
She said it at Thanksgiving back in 2021, that leg quarters at 79 cents a pound would stretch way further than the $4.99 breasts I kept buying. I finally tried it at the Kroger on Vine St and got 3 dinners plus soup stock out of one $6 pack. Now I feel kinda dumb about all those months of dry baked chicken. What's the cheapest cut you swapped to that you wish someone had told you about sooner?
