Honestly everyone says breast is the smart pick because there's no waste, but I was paying $4.99 a pound at the store near my place in Rochester. Now I grab a whole bird for around $1.29 a pound, roast it Sunday, and get 3 meals plus stock from the bones. Tbh the extra 20 minutes of picking meat off the carcass is worth it when I'm feeding two people on about $60 a week. Anyone else make the switch, or did the whole bird thing never stick for you?
