My fiddle leaf dropped 9 leaves in one week and it turned out to be the AC vent
I moved my fiddle leaf fig into the corner of my living room back in March and within 7 days it dropped 9 leaves, all from the bottom up, so I finally stuck a cheap thermometer back there and saw the temp swinging 12 degrees all day from the AC vent above it. I blocked the vent with a piece of cardboard and set a small fan on low to keep air moving, and new growth started pushing out after about 3 weeks. Does moving a plant to a new spot usually mean you have to baby it for a month, or do you just watch the leaves and hope for the best?
