Update: our club rules lawyer told me my discussion questions were "yes or no traps" and I had to rewrite all 12
She pulled out her notes and pointed at three in a row that could be answered in one word, and she was right, so now I write each one to start with "why" or "how." How do you all test questions before the meeting so you don't kill the talk in the first five minutes?
