The shelf setup at my local game store in Austin got me rethinking how I store my whole collection
Stopped in last Saturday to grab sleeves and noticed the owner had his demo shelf set up with all the small box games tilted forward on these little foam wedges so you could read every spine without touching anything. I asked him about it and he said he cut the wedges from a $6 yoga block from Target and it cut his restock time on that shelf from about 20 minutes to 5. Came home and tried it on my 3 shelves of small boxes and now I can actually find stuff instead of pulling out 8 boxes to get to the one in back. Also clocked that he keeps his heavy euros on the bottom two shelves only, says it keeps the unit from wobbling when people grab games during open play night. Curious if anyone else has stolen storage tricks from a store instead of an Ikea hack.
