Shoutout to the guy at my Tuesday game night who got me to stop buying dice trays
I used to grab a new dice tray almost every month, and last year I added it up and it was $140 on trays alone, which is honestly embarrassing to type. Then Dave from my Tuesday group at the shop on Maple just slid a folded felt square out of his pocket that cost him like $3 at a craft store, and it rolled dice just as well as the wooden one I paid $45 for. I felt pretty dumb standing there watching my dice bounce off a real table for free. Now I want to know what other game night stuff I'm overbuying, so what's the one thing you stopped spending money on once someone showed you the cheap version?
