Hit 2,000 logged plays and it took 6 years

I started keeping a play log back in 2018 mostly to settle arguments about who wins more in my group. Last night I updated it after a game of Concordia and the counter showed 2,000. That number felt wild to me because I never set out to track that much, it just piled up one session at a time. 2,000 plays averages out to about 333 a year, which is way more than I thought I actually sat down for. Most of those are quick filler games with my buddy Dave, maybe 40% are the heavy stuff we plan two weeks ahead for. What surprised me is how many of those plays I barely remember, but the ones I do remember all have a story attached, like the time my nephew flipped the table on a losing roll. Has anyone else hit a milestone count in their log and felt like it belonged to a different person? What number did you land on and how long did it take you?

Read somewhere that the average gamer forgets most of their plays, so your story about the nephew is probably the real keeper.
