Bought a $40 dice tower that fell apart on game night
Last Friday I grabbed a new dice tower from a local shop in Austin for our weekly campaign. Looked solid in the box, but by the third roll the felt lining peeled off and the wooden chute split right down the middle. We ended up rolling dice into a shoebox lid for the rest of the session. Anyone else had cheap accessories die mid-game? What do you use instead that actually holds up?

...and that reminds me, my buddy Kyle bought one of those dragon head towers off Etsy, looked awesome on his shelf. First time he used it at our table, the head actually broke off and rolled across the map, taking out half his minis. He just stared at it for like ten seconds, then grabbed a plastic cup and wrote "dice" on it with a sharpie. Honestly, that cup has survived two years now, way better than the fancy ones.
