That friend who only watches the first episode of everything
Honestly, my buddy Craig refuses to binge anything. He'll watch episode one of a show with me, then stop and say he 'got the gist' and doesn't need to see how it ends. We tried to watch Succession together last month and he bailed after the pilot, said the dialogue felt like homework. I argued that shows like that build their payoff over a whole season, but he thinks most series just repeat the same trick. Has anyone else dealt with a person who treats every show like a movie trailer and misses the full story?
