Binged Lupin over a long weekend and it totally changed how I watch French shows now

I always thought subtitled stuff was too much work. But I gave Lupin a shot last month and finished all 3 parts in like 4 days. Now I can't go back to dubbed versions. The original voices just hit different. Has anyone else had a show completely flip how you watch things?

Oh totally, "the original voices just hit different" is so true. I used to swear by dubs too, but once I heard Omar Sy's actual voice it was like a whole new show. Your mileage may vary, but for me it's the same thing now - subs all the way.

Kind of like how once you start noticing bad acting in one show, you see it everywhere... it's the same with dubs vs subs. It changes your whole standard for what feels real.
