Hot take: the bike rack at the Kroger on 5th is a wheel bender and it's chewing up people's bikes
Stopped by there Tuesday to grab a tube and saw two bikes leaned into that rack where the bars are spaced way too wide, and one guy's front wheel was already taco'd from it tipping over. Those straight bar racks only grab about an inch of rim, so a loaded commuter just flops and folds. If your shop sends folks that way, warn them to lock through the frame and rear wheel and skip the front. What racks are you all pointing customers to when a lot has nothing but these old bars?
