Appreciation post: my $8 clip light from the hardware store beats my phone flashlight for reading in bed
I kept waking up at 2am because my phone flashlight is way too bright, even on the lowest setting, and it made my eyes hurt. Last month I grabbed a little $8 clip light from the Ace on Burnet Road and clipped it to my headboard instead, and now I read for about 20 minutes with a warm dim glow and I'm out cold. Turns out the problem was never my phone, it was pointing a tiny sun at my face right before sleep. Does anyone else use a real lamp for bedtime reading, or am I the last person to figure this out?
