Shoutout to the old head in Tulsa who told me to stop fading above the ear
I used to run my clippers straight up from the neckline every time and wondered why my fades looked blurry at the top. An old barber at a shop off 11th St in Tulsa told me last month to stop going above the ear line and just flick out instead. Took me about 12 cuts to get it right but now my blends are way cleaner and clients actually notice. I think most new guys rush the top part and dig in when they should be pulling away. Anyone else get taught this the hard way or did your shop show you from day one?
