Did she actually say something funny, or was it one of those blunt kid comments that lands like a gut punch? Kids usually mean no harm until they hit the exact spot you were already worried about. What was her exact wording?

@noaht15 I gotta push back a little, kids usually mean no harm but they can also be straight-up hilarious on purpose. My niece dropped a zinger last week that was pure comedy gold.
