I've been putting $200 from each roofing check into a separate account for over a year, not really tracking it. Opened the app today and the total was $5,127. It matters because that's enough to cover my truck's transmission if it goes, which has been a real worry. Has anyone else felt that relief when a savings goal you weren't watching closely just shows up?
