How do you even bring it up without sounding rude or like you don't trust the guy? Last time I had my car towed, the driver was nice enough but the whole thing felt rushed, and handing over my keys already had me on edge. Do you ask for the number before he loads it up, or after you sign the paperwork? And what if he just says no or gives you the shop's main line instead? Seems like the moment to ask is when you still have some kind of say.
