Broker quoted me $950 to ship a Civic from Phoenix to Denver, then the driver no-showed twice
Booked with a broker three weeks out and they said a truck would grab the car on a Friday. Friday came and went, no call, and when I finally got someone on the phone they said the driver 'had a family thing.' Rebooked for the next Tuesday, same thing, except this time the truck was supposedly in New Mexico and couldn't make it. I ended up calling a small outfit out of Tucson that a guy at my gym uses and they picked it up the next morning for $1,150. Why do brokers get to hold your deposit for 10 days when their own driver never shows?
