Customer brought in a 2018 F-150 with hail damage, and the before/after on my dent puller setup made me rethink my whole process
I've been pulling dents for 12 years and always used the same old slide hammer and glue tabs. But last month a guy brought in a 2018 F-150 with about 40 small hail dents on the hood and roof. I decided to try a new PDR light board and a different glue pull system I got from a buddy in Dallas. The before and after difference was night and day. With the old method I would have spent 6 hours and still had some tiny high spots. With the new setup I finished in 3 hours and the customer said it looked like nothing ever happened. I'm not saying the old way is bad, but seeing the paint reflection under that light board showed me how much I was missing. Has anyone else switched to a different dent pulling method and seen that kind of jump in quality?
