The guy at the star party in Flagstaff handed me his 8 inch Dob and said one thing
Back in September I drove up to a dark sky meetup near Flagstaff and a retired teacher let me look through his scope at Saturn. He said "don't chase the pretty picture, just watch the moons move for twenty minutes," and I ended up staring at Titan for almost half an hour. Has anyone else had a stranger at a star party change how they view their own shots?
