PSA: stop calling Andromeda a "nebula" in your captions, it confuses new folks
Last month I saw 4 different astro photo pages label M31 as a nebula and the comments were full of beginners asking if they could see it with cheap binoculars. Is it worth correcting people every time, or should we just let the old names fade out on their own?
Wait, people are actually out here telling beginners they can spot Andromeda with cheap binoculars just because someone called it a nebula? That's wild to me, because M31 is a whole galaxy and half the confusion comes from folks mixing up their terms in the first place. I'd say keep correcting them, since a quick fix now saves a newbie a lot of wasted nights staring at the sky wondering why they can't find some fuzzy blob.
