Hit 50 five-star reviews on my pest control page, felt like a fluke at first

I checked my Google listing last Tuesday and saw the counter tick over to 50. It mattered because 3 of those came from a single retirement complex where one lady told everyone I fixed her ant problem without spraying the whole kitchen. Has anyone else had one small job snowball into a whole neighborhood thing?

Retirement complexes are like their own little kingdoms, man. I did one attic sealing job for a guy who was on the HOA board and suddenly three of his neighbors called me that week. The key was just being real with the first guy about what I could and couldn't fix, and he did the selling for me. Word of mouth hits different when it's a bunch of folks sitting around talking over coffee, they trust each other way more than a website. Now I always leave a few extra cards with the first customer when I finish up in a place like that.
