My neighbor Claire told me that old glass bottles from the 1800s are worth way more if they still have bubbles in the glass
She said those bubbles mean the glass was handmade not machine made, so collectors pay extra for them. Has anyone else found old bottles with bubbles at a dig?

A buddy of mine dug up one with bubbles near an old farm.

Wait, so bubbles in the glass actually make them worth MORE? That's wild, I always figured bubbles meant the glass was messed up or lower quality or something. I found a couple old green bottles near an abandoned railroad track last summer and one had tiny little bubbles all inside it, almost looked like a soda bottle from the future haha. No idea they'd be more valuable that way, guess I need to go dig through my junk pile and see what else is hiding in there.
