Can we talk about how a museum curator in Denver wrecked my whole catalog system with one question?
She asked why every sherd in my collection had to be a separate numbered entry instead of grouping them by dig square, and after three seasons of doing it the old way I switched to bag-level records and cut my data entry time in half, so now I want to know who else ditched individual artifact numbering and how it went.
