PSA: I stopped yanking dryer lint traps dry and started wetting a rag first
I used to just pull the lint screen and call it clean, but a tech at a parts counter in Akron showed me how a damp rag run through the screen mesh pulls out a film of fabric softener that clogs airflow. Did it on a 12 year old Whirlpool and cycle time went from 75 minutes down to about 50. Anyone else got a small trick that made a bigger difference than expected?
