I finally tracked that fridge hum after leaving it running overnight

Turns out the compressor mount had completely worn out, but finding it took forever, lol.

Ever hear about my friend Jake's fridge saga? His started with a faint rattle that drove him nuts at night. He actually took the whole back panel off looking for loose parts. Tbh, the real problem was a cracked drain pan vibrating against the compressor. Honestly, he only found it when a piece finally broke off and rattled around in there. Ngl, it was a mess but at least it's quiet now.

Cracked drain pans are sneaky because they drip water too. Could lead to mold or electrical issues down the line. Jake might want to check for any moisture damage behind that panel. Peace and quiet but a potential mess waiting to happen.
