Customer's one complaint made me double check every drain pump

Had a lady in Austin call me back two days after I swapped her washer drain pump. She said the machine still smelled like old water. I was sure I seated the hose right, but I went back and sure enough, the clamp was on crooked, letting a tiny drip pool under the drum. That one call changed my whole routine. Now I run a full spin cycle before I leave every job and feel around the base for moisture. Anyone else had a callback that made them add a step they never thought about before?
