Watched a full season of anime at a laundromat in Tulsa

My dryer broke halfway through a load last Saturday, so I lugged everything to Suds & Duds on 11th street. There was a guy watching Hunter x Hunter on his tablet at full volume, no headphones. I ended up sitting two machines over and watching like half the Chimera Ant arc over his shoulder. Has anyone else had random anime viewing experiences in weird public places?

Used to think people watching stuff over shoulders in public was weird, but after catching the tail end of Frieren at a bus stop in Detroit I get it now, sometimes the universe just throws a good show at you.

Had a buddy who swore he'd never watch someone else's phone screen. Then he saw a dude playing the last 10 minutes of Your Name on a train in Chicago, sat down next to him and just watched the whole ending without saying a word. Said it was the most intense movie experience he ever had.
