Barista at the shop near my place called FMA Brotherhood overrated, and now I can't stop thinking about it
Was getting coffee last Tuesday and the guy behind the counter saw my Edward Elric keychain and just went off. He said Brotherhood is overrated because the first 13 episodes rush the story and the 2003 version had better pacing. I stood there with my cold brew getting warm while he listed his reasons, and honestly some of it made sense. But I rewatched the first arc after work and I still think Brotherhood holds up fine. Anyone else get thrown off by a random hot take from a stranger and then spend a week overthinking it?
